Purpose

CalmToolkit provides short, practical tools that support everyday wellbeing at work. It does not provide medical, psychological, or clinical care, and it must not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Not medical or psychological advice

All content (including text, prompts, exercises, timers, and illustrations) is general in nature. If you have symptoms, ongoing health conditions, or concerns about your mental or physical health, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Immediate help

If you or someone else is in danger or experiencing a crisis, call 000. For mental health crisis support in Australia, contact Lifeline on 13 11 14.

Physical activity caution

Our “energising movements” and other physical exercises are designed for general wellness. Start gently and work at your own pace. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort. Consult a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise routine, especially if you have existing injuries or medical conditions.

User responsibility and caution

You are responsible for how you use the tools and for any decisions you make. While we take care to ensure accuracy and relevance, CalmToolkit makes no guarantee of specific outcomes or results.

Third-party links

We may reference external resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party sites.

Age suitability

CalmToolkit is intended for adults in a workplace context.

Additional information for employers and organisations

CalmToolkit is a preventative wellbeing toolkit. It does not replace Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), clinical services, occupational health assessments, or any legal WHS/psychosocial obligations.

Appropriate use

The toolkit and any aggregated insights are not designed to assess individual health, diagnose conditions, or make decisions about performance management, employment suitability, or medical fitness for work.

Data posture

CalmToolkit is designed to be privacy-preserving. By default, it does not collect or store personal identifiers. Where usage analytics are provided, they are anonymised and aggregated to help organisations understand general adoption and tool interest, not individual behaviour.

Suitability and compliance

Organisations are responsible for assessing whether CalmToolkit is suitable for their workforce, and for meeting their own legal, regulatory, and policy requirements (including psychosocial risk management).

No warranty/limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CalmToolkit and its owners are not liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising from use or reliance on the toolkit. Use is at your own discretion and risk.

Intellectual property

All content, branding, designs, graphics, code, and documentation are protected by intellectual property laws. You must not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
